Checkers Catering and Special Events is a certified GREEN family owned and operated business with over 21 years experience, providing exceptional cuisine and extraordinary service to the greater San Francisco Bay area. Special Events Planning, Sizzling BBQ's and Corporate Catering are just some of our specialties.
Our Special Events department plans beautiful weddings, bar/bat mitzvah's, full-service barbecues, holidays parties, proms & grad nights, gala & sit-down dinners and any other special occasion can you think of. We create memorable themed events and offer international food stations, tabletop décor, floral arrangements, entertainment, and all your rental and equipment needs.
Corporate "Set & Go" catering is our signature weekday delivery service catering executive breakfasts & lunches to multiple-day training meetings & sessions. We deliver your order, set it up for you, and provide Biodegradable and sturdy plates, utensils and paper napkins. We return later or the following day to pick up our equipment.
Based in Livermore wine country, our home is a spacious 10,000 square foot facility with a state-of-the-art kitchen, a warehouse, production and administrative offices, and a spectacular special event showroom!
Denise Slavitt our President has created a warm, fast moving environment for her 25 full-time employees. Eager to contribute to the growth of the community Denise serves on the Board of Directors of the Tri-Valley Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, is a member of the Livermore Valley Winegrower’s Association and the Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and San Ramon Chamber’s of Commerce and a member of the ASTRA Women’s Business Alliance.
