Meet Samantha Harrington
If variety is
the spice of life then Samantha is definitely in her element.
Samantha is one of four special event coordinators at Checkers
and her job begins when she receives initial information
from a customer who is planning a wedding, party or other
special event – and each one is entirely unique. Her
job functions involve working with the customer to create
the menu, assisting with any rental needs such as linens,
tables or cabanas, and coordinating every last detail for
the event. She will assist in setting up the event and sometimes
will even work at the event.
“I especially
love this job,” says Samantha, “because I get
to help people plan their special occasions. It’s
particularly exciting for me to be at the event and see
all of the planning and hard work come together to make
a memorable experience for the customer.”
As you may suspect from
this type of work, Samantha is extremely efficient and organized.
In fact, she states that her biggest pet peeve is sloppiness.
She is known by her co-workers as a top notch customer service
advocate who is relentless in helping customers make anything
possible.
Samantha was born and
raised in California and was recently married to her husband
Scott. They both enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and
some of her favorite hobbies include snowboarding, dirt
bike riding and camping. To put it in her words “When
I am on my time I like to be outdoors, having fun and living
the good life!”
